2007 - Chris Corcoran

2007 Owner of the Year - Chris Corcoran

The 1st ever SmartGuySports.com Owner of the Year goes out to Chris Corcoran for his outstanding overall year in 2007.  Chris competes in 3 football leagues and a baseball league.  This year his baseball record was fairly average, although he was in playoff contention right up to the final week of the season.  It was his overall greatness in the three football leagues that earned him the top award of the year.

Chris and his Shortcake Delight crew made the playoffs in all three football leagues and was runner-up in two of them.  He finished with a record of 8-6 in Cowchip, 10-4 in Raging Bull, and a league record 12-1 in the Seinfeld League.  Although Chris was not able to capture any championship in 2007 his achievements were spectacular anyway.  He finished as one of the top money winners this year and threatened to run the table to a perfect season in the Seinfeld League.  Chris had to balance a completely different style in each league as he suffered several major injuries along the way in each of the leagues this year.  3 leagues...3 playoff finishes and 2 title game appearances.  Tremendous job this year Chris!
